Easter Week!

Hey everyone!! Sorry I haven't gotten to ya for a fort night

 

Easter Sunday was pretty nice. I got the chance to give a talk in sacrament meeting. It was on the atonement, so I started tell the people stories. Because I learned that telling stories works alot better. It was the way Jesus Christ taught. I related the atonement to when I got my wisdom teeth out. It is remarkable how we can take any experience we have in life and relate it to the gosple. And use our experiences to bless the lifes of others.

 

I was able to go to the temple on Monday! Wow honestly the temple is the place to be. I could feel the spirit even before we got into the temple grounds. Just seeing the temple brought me joy. Then I got to go in and stay for a few hours:) the veil is so thin in the temple. I felt like I had a direct line between me and god. He was listening to my thoughts and directing me in his work.

 

I was on exchanges with a missionary from Sweden in Liverpool last week. We street contacted into this lady called Kate. She is so prepared we invited her to be baptised and she was like yeah when can we do it! We were like slow down cowgirl we need to teach you 4 lessons before you can be baptised. So they are meeting her tomorrow:) Liverpool is such a blessed land. It was great to be back in my birth place.

 

We had a big ward activity on Monday. It was at one of the members houses. we had a big easter egg hunt and even one for the adults. Which us missionaires won. I think it is because we are so use to finding ;) haha then we had a egg toss. We had to toss the egg back and forth each time getting just a bit further and further until our egg broke we got second place!

 

My easter was very great. It was such a spiritual experience getting to share about Jesus Christ and the blessings we receive from following his plan for each of us! I love you all
